Returns & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 10 August 2026

At NCnet, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with a product, you may be able to return it or request a refund in accordance with this Returns & Refund Policy and applicable South African consumer-protection laws.

1. Returns

Customers may request a return where:

* The product received is defective or damaged.
* The incorrect product, size, colour or quantity was delivered.
* The product does not correspond with the description or specifications provided by NCnet.
* The product is not suitable for the purpose for which it was intended.
* The return is otherwise permitted under applicable consumer-protection legislation.

Where a product is defective or does not meet the required standards, NCnet will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a **repair, replacement or refund**, as required by applicable law.

 2. Change-of-Mind Returns

NCnet may accept returns where a customer simply changes their mind, subject to the conditions of the particular product and applicable law.

For a change-of-mind return, the product should generally:

* Be unused and in its original condition.
* Be returned with its original packaging, accessories and documentation where applicable.
* Not have been damaged, altered or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.
* Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

Certain products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns where the nature of the product makes a return inappropriate or where applicable law provides an exception.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, contact NCnet as soon as reasonably possible and provide:

* Your order number.
* A description of the problem.
* Photographs or video showing the damage or incorrect product, where applicable.
* Any other information reasonably required to process the return.

NCnet will assess the issue and advise you of the next steps.

 4. Defective Products

NCnet respects customers’ rights under the South African **Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA)**.

Where applicable, goods that fail to satisfy the required standards may be returned within the statutory period. The CPA provides, among other things, that a consumer may return defective, unsafe or unsuitable goods within six months of delivery, subject to the requirements of the Act. Depending on the circumstances, the consumer may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights that a customer has under applicable South African law.

5. Refunds

Once NCnet receives and assesses a returned product, we will notify you whether the return has been approved.

Where a refund is approved:

* The refund will normally be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
* Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
* Refunds will be processed within the period required by applicable law.
* Where a statutory refund is applicable, NCnet will not impose an unlawful cancellation or administration fee.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Where the return is due to an error by NCnet, a defective product, or another circumstance where NCnet is responsible under applicable law, NCnet will arrange or reimburse reasonable return delivery costs as required.

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, the customer may be responsible for return delivery costs, subject to the terms applicable to the particular product and applicable law.

 7. Products That Cannot Be Returned

Some products may be excluded from voluntary returns because of their nature, including products that:

* Are personalised or made specifically to the customer’s requirements.
* Are perishable.
* Have been opened where health, hygiene or safety considerations prevent resale.
* Are digital products that have already been downloaded or accessed, where applicable.
* Have been damaged or altered after delivery by the customer.

These exclusions do not apply where they would unlawfully remove a consumer’s rights under the CPA or other applicable legislation.

 8. Order Cancellations

Customers may have the right to cancel certain online or direct-marketing transactions within the applicable statutory cooling-off period.

Where the CPA provides a cooling-off right, the applicable period is generally **five business days**, and payments received must be returned within the period prescribed by law.

Nothing in this policy limits a customer’s statutory cancellation rights.

9. Exchanges

Where appropriate, NCnet may offer an exchange for:

* A defective product.
* A damaged product.
* An incorrect product supplied by NCnet.
* Another circumstance where an exchange is required by law.

An exchange will be subject to product availability. Where the required replacement is unavailable, an appropriate alternative remedy, including a refund where applicable, will be provided.

10. Proof of Purchase

To process a return or refund, NCnet may request reasonable proof of purchase, such as:

* Order number.
* Invoice.
* Receipt.
* Confirmation email.
* Other information that allows NCnet to verify the purchase.

Where there is a conflict between this policy and a mandatory consumer right, the applicable law will prevail.
